Sarnia Historical Society Welcomes You.
Sarnians can tell stories of days gone by that are full of drama, pathos, excitement and grand achievement. We have a history that is rich in colourful characters, critical undertakings, growth and constant change.
Our city has produced a prime minister who refused a knighthood, an astronaut who entertained the world with his music from space, a female Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario who made us proud, and champions in football, golf, boxing, hockey and much more. We’ve seen great storms and violent explosions, fires at sea and a gun battle in the streets of downtown. Yes; we have stories to tell.
But you may too. The Sarnia Historical Society is going digital this fall with an online blog, a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and a content-rich website designed to keep those interested in Sarnia’s story entertained for days. Do you have a story that plays a part in Sarnia’s story? If so, we want to hear about it. Contact us here and tell us your story. You may very well find it featured on the Sarnia Historical Society website.
Help us to tell Sarnia’s story!
Thanks,
Ron RealeSmith
